Question 1

What does the Blue Room tour cost?

Accepted Answer

$35 per person. It is the cheapest and most adventurous way to see the Blue Room on Curaçao, and the tour includes all three stops: the Blue Room, the shipwreck and the Buddha caves. Cash is preferred — the wifi on this side of the island is not always stable, so card payments can fail.

Question 2

What time do we leave?

Accepted Answer

Departure is at 13:00. Come to Playa Santa Cruz in good time. The trip takes a minimum of 1.5 hours.

Question 3

Do I need to reserve?

Accepted Answer

No reservation needed — just call me or come to the beach at 1 o'clock and you are welcome. A WhatsApp beforehand is always nice so I know you are coming.

Question 4

What kind of boat is it?

Accepted Answer

A comfortable new boat with plenty of shade and enough seating for everyone. No crowded little dinghy — you sit well, out of the sun, the whole way.

Question 5

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Cash and your own snorkel mask. Plus sunscreen, water and a towel.

Question 6

Where do we meet?

Accepted Answer

At Playa Santa Cruz (Boca Santa Cruz), on the west side of Curaçao near Westpunt. Free parking at the beach. On the left-hand side you will see the house — the boat leaves right there.

Question 7

Can I eat there afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you come on the boat trip you can eat with Mrs Goodlife at our beach kitchen: fresh fish, our own Obersi fries and soft drinks, right on the sand.

Question 8

Can I go diving?

Accepted Answer

Yes — $40 per diver, minimum 2 people, PADI certified, with drop-off and pick-up. I take you to Mushroom Forest, Sponge Forest, Blue Reef and the other five-star dive spots on this coast. Bring your own gear.

Question 9

Can I rent a kayak?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A double kayak for 3 hours is €40 and you can paddle to the Blue Cave and the shipwreck.

Question 10

Can I go fishing?

Accepted Answer

Fishing is only by personal appointment with me or my crew on WhatsApp. Early morning departures only.

Question 11

Can children join?

Accepted Answer

Of course. This is a family business and families are very welcome — let me know the ages so I can plan calm stops.

Question 12

How do I reach you?

Accepted Answer

WhatsApp or just call +599 9 688 2569. No office, no email — the phone is the way.
